Finding your path to surviving suicide.

Dr. Schneck

The death of a loved one by suicide can leave your life in shambles. Feelings of guilt, shame, responsibility, and anger combined with brain fog and a sense of being overwhelmed can make it hard to get through even the most basic day-to-day tasks. My goal during this difficult time is to support and guide you as you walk this path. We will work together to develop a narrative about your loss that is both honest and tolerable for you. We will face the feelings of guilt and anger and work to validate and live with them. We will also develop your distress-coping skills using mindfulness-mediation techniques. Suicide grief is a journey. However, it can be hard to find your inner navigator. I am here to help you find your path and to support you as you take your steps on it.
